3B Milled Fibres are Advantex^® glass filaments coated with a specific sizing to enhance resin compatibility and grinded to a specified density, which is determined by the input glass and milling process conditions. 3B Milled Fibres filament diameters are defined by the input glass materials used.

Two general product forms exist: powder and floccular (cotton-like appearance). Typically, the powdery form has shorter fibre length than the floccular form. Powder form has a higher bulk density resulting in improved flowability and increased productivity. When higher reinforcement performances or lower bulk density are required, the floccular product form with longer glass filaments has to be used.

Both product forms offer excellent dimensional stability, shrinkage control, high modulus and acid resistance.

3B Milled Fibres are designed for use in a variety of thermoplastics, thermosets and putties for applications in the automotive, electrical, consumer, construction and aerospace markets.
