Technical Service Engineer (TSE)

Your mission

As a member of the Sales & Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing for India, you are the technical voice of the customer within our production facility, with a strong focus on quality and customer needs, in order to make sure that the 3B product line strategy as defined in the marketing plan by the Market Manager is implemented. Your position is based in Goa.

Your profile

  • Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical / Production / Composites Engineering from reputed institute with good academics.
  • Experience: Fresher / 1-2 Years in technical service in similar process industry.
  • Languages: English and Hindi are required (any other Indian language is a plus)
  • Your behavioural competencies: Willingness to learn and listen, good interpersonal skills, good presentation and communication skills, travel savvy (open for extensive travel across India within a short notice), hands-on and willingness to make your hands dirty.

Your core competencies

  • Strong Technical background
  • Strong product and process knowledge of glass fibre, thermoset polymers
  • Very good understanding of customers’ processes and applications as well as the key product functionalities.
  • Analytics and quality problem solving tools and techniques

Your role and responsibilities

Customer's Fitness for use

  • Perform benchmarking of products with competition, Gap Analysis
  • Set Quality objectives and analyse feasibility, cost implications, pros and cons of each objective
  • Draw up, drive and co-ordinate Quality Improvement programme
  • Assist Sales & Marketing in creating customer, distributor awareness regarding Quality improvement programme,
  • Seek and get direct feedback of performance on improved product from customers
  • Assist Sales and Marketing in promotional activities for specific customer development, customers meets, trade shows etc.
  • Develop literature, brochures and marketing tools

Customer's Fitness for use

  • Be accountable for redressal of customer complaints
  • Track and analyse customer complaints. Assess need for FTU updation

Technical Support for New customer development

  • Focus on identified products, markets, customers
  • Act as an interface between customer and plant operations.
